He could feel the heat of Maeda’s skin before he even touched it.

Fingers splayed over his bare chest, Takeuchi’s cold skin sending a shiver through Maeda’s body.

A hand ran through Takeuchi’s pink curls, down his back, leaving trails of hot fire down his spine.

It was in moments like these that he could truly remember how cold his body had become, how warm the human body was.

He pressed his lips to Maeda’s, his heart beating in his ears as clear as if he had pressed his ear to his chest.

They both had to go back to work soon, but for now, Takeuchi wanted this heat to last.

At least for a little while longer.
